At Journey, students are a big deal! We don’t believe students are just the church of tomorrow. We believe they are the church today because students who love Jesus can make a huge difference in our world. They are fearless, uninhibited, and have incredible influence with their peers. We want to help students learn to walk with Jesus, and equip them to help other students find and follow Jesus as well.
1st Sunday of the month at 4pm
On the first Sunday of each month, 4-6p, all of our Journey Students House Groups come together for a night of worship at the Journey campus. This gathering helps students see that they are all part of something bigger than their individual groups as they connect with other House Groups, worship as one, and welcome new students who may not yet be connected.
During this season, if you are not comfortable with attending in person, you can also join us online on our YouTube Channel.
2nd-4th Sundays of the month at 4pm
Journey Students meets at the Journey campus on the first Sunday night of every month. Every other Sunday night we meet in House Groups. Our House Groups are strategically chosen homes around Wake County. They are intended to be places where our students hang out together in a non-threatening environment, and where students who do not know Jesus feel welcomed, loved, and accepted. The House Groups are designed for students to lead other students with the help, coaching, and guidance of adult leaders along the way.
Each family that hosts a House Group has been chosen based on faithful membership at Journey Church for many years. They have each gone through an interview process and passed a background check. Below you’ll find a list of our current middle and high school House Groups.
Our student House Groups located throughout the Triangle and surrounding area. If you see one you’re interested in joining, you can contact the leader directly. Please let us know if you have any questions or if we can help you get connected, and we will be happy to guide you in the right direction.
