Module Checklist

Module 3.1 – Key Scripture

• Review handout of key New Testament passages related to the Holy Spirit.
• Commit Acts 1:8 to memory.
• Complete a Discovery Bible Study (DBS) on at least one other key passage.

Module 3.2 – Theology of the Holy Spirit

• Review the handout “The Holy Spirit–An Overview” for basic information about the person and role of the Holy Spirit.

Module 3.3 – Listening 101

• Review the “Learning How to Listen” infographic for general information about listening to the voice of the Holy Spirit in your life.

Module 3.4 – Responding 101

• Watch the Kairos Moments training video from Eric Pheiffer.
• Review the “Kairos Moments Tool”
• Try to identify at least one “Kairos Moment” during the week as the result of your spiritual practices.

Module 3.5 – Communing with God

• Listen to Spirit of the Living God by Vertical Church Band.
• Record special moments, thoughts, questions, and key takeaways in your journal.
• Spend time in prayer asking for help in recognizing the voice, activity, and work of the Holy Spirit in your life.
